We understand you may have questions about our programs. Here are answers to some of the most common ones:
Domestic violence programs are structured, psychoeducational services offered in group, private, or e-learning formats. These services function as a domestic violence intervention program or, in some cases, a domestic violence diversion program, and focus on education, accountability, behavior change, and court compliance rather than clinical treatment. Domestic violence therapy, by contrast, consists of individualized one-on-one sessions with a licensed mental health practitioner and is designed to address a client’s specific behavioral patterns, risks, and goals through personalized clinical intervention.
