Court Counseling Institute (CCI) offers the Foundations of Parenting Program, providing court-approved parenting classes and therapy that meet family court and child protection requirements. Parents can begin online immediately and receive proper documentation through a structured, compliant program.
We work with:
• Parents ordered by the court
• Child protection and referral agencies
• Attorneys and family court professionals
Each Foundations of Parenting Program is structured to meet court standards, including professional supervision, clear documentation, and confidentiality, and is widely accepted by courts and agencies.

The foundations of parenting program is considered a low-risk program for parents and is not intended for high-conflict separations or cases involving a history of abuse toward a child or co-parent. These situations require more specialized intervention, which can be found through Court Counseling Institute’s parenting services. References to doundations of parenting may also appear in court paperwork depending on jurisdiction.
Parenting programs may be referred to differently depending on the court, agency, or region. The foundations of parenting program may be accepted under titles such as:
• Court-Ordered Parenting Classes
• Parenting Education Program (PEP)
• Parenting Through Separation Program
• Co-Parenting Education Course
• Family Court Parenting Program
• Child Welfare Parenting Class
• Reunification Parenting Program
• CPS-Approved Parenting Course
• Parenting Skills for Legal Compliance and similar program titles
Please refer to Court Counseling Institute’s Caring Dads, Co-Parenting, and other court-related parenting programs for appropriate options.
