Frequently Ask Question

What is the difference between a program and counseling/therapy

A program (group, private, or e-learning) is a psychoeducational program that is taught in different formats like 1-day groups, e-learning, and private. These are educational programs and do not explore the client's personal factors, instead teach skills.

Counseling/therapy is one-on-one sessions with a mental health practitioner, focused on the client and their specific difficulties and goals. This is private sessions between the client and the practitioner.

Are your courses court approved?

We have helped more than 15,000 clients with their court cases, all of which have been approved. Depending on conditions of your case and the course that you take, it may or may not be suitable for your case. We ask that you always check with your attorney or crown attorney to make sure the program that you select is what they are requiring. Call us and we can discuss your needs and even call your lawyer or the court for you!

Court Counseling Institute proudly has a 100% court-approval rate. We work directly with courts and Crown Attorneys (criminal, domestic violence, family, youth & immigration) across USA & Canada. We have a very strong presence in the Court system.

Can I do this after work?

Yes. Court Counseling Institute has a very flexible schedule. We are open from 8:00 am – 12:00 am seven days of the week. If your schedule is different from ours, we will try to accommodate your schedule.
